According to Indonesian dictionary published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, an understanding is true understanding or knowing right. Understanding can be interpreted also mastered certain thoughts, it means learning to understand the mental and philosophical meaning, intent and implications and its applications, causing students to understand a situation. It is very important for students to learn. Understanding the meaning, the meaning of it, is the ultimate goal of any teaching. Have a fundamental understanding of the meaning of that put parts of the study in proportion. Without it, the skills knowledge and attitudes would not be meaningful.
In the learning element of understanding that can not be separated from other elements. With motivation, concentration and reaction, then the students can develop the facts, ideas or skills and then with elements of the organization, then the subject can learn to organize these things are linked together into a logical pattern, because studying a number of data as it is, in a graduated or gradually, students begin to understand the meaning and implications of problems as a whole.
Keep in mind that an understanding not only know but also requires that students be able to utilize materials that have been studied and understood, when it's so then it is a fundamental study. Higher understanding of the level of knowledge. Understanding requires the ability to capture the meaning of the concept.
Then it must be stressed that the understanding is dynamic, with this expected to be creative. He will produce a calm mind and the imagination, but if the study subjects truly understand the material presented by his teacher, then they will be ready to give definitive answers on partanyaan questions or problems in learning (Sardiman, 1996: 42 - 45).
In understanding the material, must concentrate fully on the material in a way to understand each sentence and digest the meaning of the sentence. 3. Recall (Repetition)
Repeating is an active effort to incorporate the information into long-term memory. This can be done by "binding" facts into visual memory, auditory, or physical. The brain has many memory devices. More and more devices (senses) are involved, the better a new information is recorded. To recall not only to knowledge of the facts, but also remember going to a broad concept, which has been distributed generalizations, definitions, methods of approaching the problem. Recall, aims to enable students to have the opportunity to establish or reconstitute imformasi they have received (Jamarah, 2005: 108).
People who do not repeat when learning new information is continually put off. It makes learning difficult because there will be fewer words in the brain that can be used to link or associate the new information the next number.
Repeat this activity can be done after obtaining such material, it can be done on time after school, recess, and at a time when other leisure-time. In this activity can be repeated by re-reading in accordance with the material that has been granted, and summarized it with his own language that is easily understood. Thus indirectly to read once they have learned to memorize the material.

In certain contexts, the subject matter is central to the learning process. That is, the common learning process is defined as the process of delivering the material. This can be justified manakalah main goal of learning is the mastery of learning materials (centere subject teaching). To be able to master the subject matter students are not only based on one book, because basically there are a variety of sources that can be used as a source for acquiring knowledge.
